LAUNCH OF FUND RAISING CD

A superb new recording of the song "What Colour is the Wind" by Mike Doyle has been launched in Cardiff.  The CD is the result of an immense collaborative effort between the world of entertainment in Wales, the business community and Cardiff Institute for the Blind.

Recorded by Mike Doyle, one of Wales' best loved and most talented singers.  Mike has performed to countless audiences the world over.  He's appeared on TV, performed to royalty and also performed on the West End stage during his fabulous 21 year career in show business.

Gareth Edwards, Ruth Madoc, Owen Money and many other personalities were at the premier performance of "What Colour is the Wind" that took place in Conti's music venue before an invited celebrity audience from the world of sport and show business.

"A fabulous version of this heartwarming song" and "This excellent CD certainly deserves to raise a huge amount of money for the CIB" were among the comments made on the night.

An encore was demanded on the night and a standing ovation greeted both performances.

A huge vote of thanks go to  Hallmark Healthcare  and  Gios Restaurants  for providing all the production costs, to Mike Doyle himself for giving of his services and songwriter Charlie Landsborough who has signed over all royalties for this recording.

The CD went on sale from Monday December 7th and can be bought  directly from the Cardiff Institute for the Blind, Spillers Record Store in Hayes Cardiff, from Amazon, Cadno Music in Llanelli,  The Tangled Parrot in Carmarthen, Derek's Records in Swansea and it is also available as a down load from Itunes.
