Resource Centre

What is in the Resource Centre?

It contains aids and gadgets suitable for visually impaired people. All the equipment is sold at concessionary prices. The centre also houses music tapes, audio described videos, books on tape, braille books and toys/games libraries.

Will there be anyone there to show me around?

Yes - staff are always at hand to advise and assist, but you are also welcome just to browse around.

What if I can't get to the centre?

We can either arrange transport for you through Transcall or we can send the Mobile Resource centre to your home.

Is there a charge for using the centre?

No - all the Resource Centre services are Free.

When is the centre open?

Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm

Friday 8.45am - 3.45pm
