Visually Impaired Merthyr (V.I.M.) UPDATE

There’s an exciting new venture just establishing itself in Merthyr, known as V.I.M. (Visually Impaired Merthyr). It’s objectives are to provide help, support and social activities for blind and partially sighted people in the Merthyr area. The new society hopes to build on their close contact with the C.I.B. and to further this they visited the well established and very popular resource centre here in Newport Road. Members of the new society were able to view and handle the large selection of aids, gadgets and hi tech equipment on display when they visited us recently.
